Welcome to M6 Ranch Wagyu!

The Moore family has been in the cattle business for generations and the seed stock business since 1971. We have bred numerous Multiple Trait Leaders, Single Trait Leaders, and National Show Champions over the years in the Charolais and Hereford breeds. We have been blessed to have had some of the best production sales of any breed at our annual production sales.

Now we are “Full Throttle“ Wagyu because we believe that this unique breed is the only breed that can deliver new levels of quality and health benefits to the beef industry. Wagyu cattle are relatively new to The United States but “word is getting out there fast“. If beef is the reason we raise them, Wagyu, has the best product in the world!

At M6, we are using our years of experience in our goal to make Wagyu cattle even better, in our pastures and on the plate. What has worked for us, is to stack pedigrees with High Accuracy Trait Leading Sires through our extensive E.T. and A.I. program. Then measure individual genetic differences with weights (BW, WW, & YW), ultrasound data, DNA test and Grow Safe feed efficiency data. After we have identified “curve bender“, elite individuals, we mass produce the “good ones“. Mating cattle for progress is our passion so that each calf crop is better than the previous one. Our aim is to supply our customers with a consistently excellent product. Whether you are buying Herd Bulls, Breeding Females, Frozen Genetics, Fat Cattle, or Beef, M6 is providing dependable quality! We have a slogan that is painted on a wall at our sale facility, “When you Depend on Beef for your Bottom Line“. At M6, we adhere to that principle in all of our decisions so that our customers get value and a product that exceeds expectations.

We know many cow/calf operations do not “turn out“ bulls until the spring and our production sale is in the fall. At our first M6 Wagyu “Good to the Bone“ production sale, October 5, 2018, M6 is offering a customer friendly “Spring Turn Out“ finance plan that should help spring calving operations participate. Bull customers who will pick up or accept delivery in January through March are eligible. The finance plan consists of paying 1/2 down at the sale and the final 1/2 at pick up or delivery. Of course the buyer will also have to pay a monthly bull development (feed & care) fee of $3 per day/ bull until the bull leaves our operation. This should be very popular to producers who want to turn out herd bulls with more weight and maturity.

Pen space available for WAGYU BEEF ALLIANCE

M6 has teamed up with Branson Wagyu in an exciting venture that allows us to offer a service to our customers and Wagyu breeders. Our Local Wagyu Beef Alliance is designed to help Wagyu breeders capture more value for Wagyu “fat“ cattle. “You own ‘em, we feed ‘em, process ‘em and help market ‘em. It also allows us to measure carcass genetics and identify sires that are excelling and exceeding expectations and more importantly which sires are not. If you are interested in being a part of this opportunity let us know. We need more cattle to meet the demand.

Thank you for visiting M6 Ranch Wagyu online. However visitors are always welcome at the ranch and our home in North Central Texas, just South of Fort Worth and 1/2 mile from interstate 35W,exit #24. We will open the gates if we know you are coming. One of the great joys is sharing with others as we evaluate cattle and our operation.
